George Clark
President
George is the President of PortraitWeavers
George leads the company’s strategic and growth initiatives and has had great success in identifying new markets for technology and bridging the gap between consumer’s wants and needs. He pioneered the technology to create a scalable photo to weave system allowing for “one off” woven photo products. George has driven the success of the company to double digit growth over the past five years.
Portrait Weavers and its family of companies have pioneered change in the art markets to include textile art as a preferred medium.
George began his career in management consulting in 1991 with Deloitte and Touche. His career turned toward investment banking and he spent several years as a Mergers and Acquisitions specialist for a New York investment bank.
He also has considerable startup experience as the Director of Business development for a dotcom startup.
He earned his undergraduate degree in Marketing and Operations from Emory University
and a Masters of Business Administration from The University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business.
Thomas Reeder
Chief Operating Officer
Tom Reeder is Chief Operating Officer for Pure Country Weavers, Inc.
Tom’s broad areas of expertise allow him to both drive operational efficiencies and improvements into the organization while simultaneously assisting in the strategic direction of the company. Tom brings 25 years of management and general management consulting experience working with all levels of management in a broad range of industries from branded fast moving consumer goods manufacturers to financial services to a big box retail. He helped consulting clients successfully drive change by leading joint client-consultant teams in domestic and international engagements from executive leadership alignment through to individual plant and store implementation.
He began management consulting 15 years ago with Deloitte & Touche and went on to establish two startup management-consulting firms focused on aligning operations, marketing and executive leadership.
Tom’s management career includes managing several profit and loss centers as a department head for one of the nation’s top 50 engineering consulting firms.
He earned his engineering degree from Purdue University and his MBA from Harvard University.
Tricia Clark
Director of Design
Tricia oversees the creative and visual quality for Portrait Weavers.
She was instrumental in developing the technology and was its first full time user. Her design skills and knowledge of color ways allowed for the enhanced look and feel of the product. She is a member of the Interior Design Society and spends most of her time looking for art worldwide.
Prior to joining Portrait Weavers, Tricia honed her skills in process automation in several Fortune 500 Commercial Insurance Companies.
She has a Bachelor of Arts from Emory University in Economics/ Art History.
Steve Logan
Plant Manager
Plant Operations
Steve Logan leads the companies core production operations. Steve’s core competency is product development. He welcomes the challenge of identifying new and radical production techniques. He has built three plants from the ground up and is in the process of expanding Portrait Weavers into a new facility. Prior to joining Portrait Weavers he led product development for a Fortune 500 non woven manufacturer. He has spent his entire career in the textile environment and has traveled world-wide, including Europe and Asia, identifying new production techniques and processes.
